Team 624 Communications was founded by longtime friends, Kaitlin Cleary and Lauren Moreno.They met during their college orientation and decided to become roommates, settling into room number 624.
In the following 13 years they’ve traveled, lived and worked together, following complementary career paths that eventually led them to start something of their own.
Team 624 Communications is the culmination of their shared passion for helping small business owners and individuals stand out, connect and build relationships in an ever-changing digital world.
Together, we hope to provide clarity to our clients on how to best present yourself and your brand in a digital world, without forgetting the importance of traditional marketing and real relationships.
Kaitlin Cleary is a seasoned communications professional, with expertise in social media marketing, content strategy and copywriting. She has worked for many locally based companies and organizations, including Penn Medicine, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and most recently QVC, where she managed content calendars and the day-to-day execution for the brand’s social media platforms – with a combined following of over 3 million. At QVC she learned best practices for social selling through operating platforms that drove millions of dollars in revenue each year. She has provided social media and blogging support to both CEO’s and public personalities.
Kaitlin holds a Master’s Degree in Communication from Villanova University, with a certification in Journalism & New Media, giving her expertise in how content is produced, distributed and consumed in a fractured and complex media environment. She believes that every brand can and should be a publisher, providing real value to their current and potential customers.
She lives in Fishtown, Philadelphia with her husband Michael, their daughter Hazel and dog Chooch.
Lauren Moreno is an experienced marketer with expertise in small business growth. With a background in Fine Arts and an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing small businesses, she has developed a unique approach to marketing that combines the creative with the analytical. This agility allows Lauren to do more with less, respond quickly to the needs of the market and focus on results. Lauren was a Senior Manager at Maximal Art for 8 years, an independent fashion jewelry brand, where she has executed holistic marketing programs that achieve business goals while working within a small business budget. Additionally, she's worked with many freelance clients over the past 10 years, offering graphic design, digital and print marketing support.
Lauren holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from The George Washington University and a Masters degree in Digital Innovation in Marketing from Temple’s Fox School of Business, where she learned how to best leverage technology to help businesses stay relevant in a rapidly changing digital environment. Lauren is also a contributor to the Social Media Strategies Summit blog, where she writes about social media, email and influencer marketing tactics and strategies.
She lives in Pennsport, Philadelphia with her boyfriend Seth and their rescue pup, Duke.
Grace Northern // VP of Client Development
Grace Northern is a marketing specialist, who has experience building communities off and online and is passionate about helping brands share their stories in a way that connects with audiences and drives results.
She began her career working for President Barack Obama, where she worked in various roles on his team including the U.S. Senate, Obama for America Campaign, the Presidential Transition Team, and the White House.
Following her time in politics, Grace worked for Sparxoo, a digital marketing agency, where she was instrumental in growing the agency from 4 to 30 employees while maintaining an average annual growth rate of 50% year-over-year. While at Sparxoo, Grace worked as a Director and Senior Manager. In these roles, she provided strategy and implementation for marketing initiatives including branding, content, digital marketing and website design and development.
Grace earned her Master's in Business Administration from the University of Florida and her Bachelor's in English from Xavier University. She holds certifications in Content Marketing and Inbound Marketing from HubSpot. Grace lives in Tampa with her husband, son, and cheerful yellow Lab, Finley.
